About the Author

I am a parent of an adolescent transitioning to his adulthood and have been a teacher for the last 32 years. I have learned a lot by watching children learn. I hope to spark conversation around how we as adults expect children to do the right thing while we continue to do as we please. I believe that we adults need to wake up to what we are teaching our children when we say one thing yet do another.
